Skype for Business: Voice Hybrid and Routing

About This Course

In Skype for Business: Cloud Voice Concepts and Planning you will learn about Skype for Business Online and how it can provide meeting and voice functionality.

You will learn how to plan a Cloud PBX deployment, including the integration with on-premises PSTN connections. You will also learn how to deploy PSTN conferencing, and integrate cloud identity and security with on-premises Active Directory. Finally, you will learn how to successfully plan a voice deployment.

This course is the second in a series of three online courses designed to help you prepare for taking the 70-333 “Deploying Enterprise Voice with Skype for Business 2015” exam.

Richard was a contributor to both the Core Solutions of Microsoft Skype for Business 2015 and Deploying Voice Workloads for Skype for Business Online and Server 2015 courses. Richard is an expert in deploying and supporting unified communications solutions that use Unified Messaging and Skype for Business Server. Richard currently leads the training and consulting practice at Learn IT Solution Group (litsg.com).

Doug Lawty

Doug has been at Microsoft over 16 years and is currently a Solutions Architect in the Office 365 Center of Excellence. He has been helping customers and partners deploy Microsoft unified communications solutions for 10 years. Doug is a Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) and instructor for the voice track of the MCM program. He has also presented at Microsoft conferences and events around the world.

As an 18 year IT professional with 11 years in Consulting he has represented Microsoft, Dell, HP, VMware, EMC and Fujitsu. He joined Microsoft in November 2010 specializing in Unified Communications. Alan has written numerous articles for publications such as Microsoft Architecture Journal, TechNet Magazine, Redmond Magazine, and VirtualizationReview.com. In addition Alan has presented at Microsoft conferences around the world. He is also a Lync 2010/2013 Microsoft Certified Master.
